Kin’s Settlement «Rodniki»

In 2002, a group of like-minded people created the Kin's settlement titled Rodniki. Rodniki settlement is located 30 km from the regional center, the city of Kostroma.

The settlement is located behind a residential village on a hill and is surrounded on all sides by a forest. The Mesa River flows nearby, which is attractive for kayaking enthusiasts. Places are rich in berries, mushrooms and medicinal herbs. Ivan-tea grows. In 2007, land was bought into the ownership of a non-profit partnership. Electricity was carried out in the settlement, water wells were drilled.

There is a common house where you can stay and enjoy until you have built your own house. They have a very friendly team and are very united. The plots are lined with hedges, kitchen gardens bloom, and ponds are equipped. Three water wells, three domestic wells were built, houses are being built.

The settlement is actively growing and developing. Every year new plots are built. For this reason, they invite future neighbors to find their piece of the homeland.
