A: Choie, 你看起来休息得很好！这次去张家界的旅行怎么样？
B: 山里清新的空气和干净的水对你的精神有神奇的功效！
A: 那么，一切都是按照你的计划进行的吗？
B: 别提了，路上有太多的不顺了。我们的旅行以丢失行李开始，雪上加霜的是，我所有的衣服都在托运的行李中。
A: 真的吗？那也太不方便了！
B: 幸好我传了好几层衣服，把必要的一些洗漱用品放在了旅行装的瓶子里，也把所有的电子产品带在了身上。
A: 我一般会在随身携带的手提包中装一些换洗衣物，你不知道哪天你会靠一个行李箱活下来。
B: 如果你想节省空间，你可以把衣物卷起来，用袜子等小东西塞满角落。
A: 洗漱用品你怎么处理？我总是神经质地担心它们会漏出来。
B: 我会用胶带把盖子封上。

A: Choie, you look well rested ! How was your trip to ZhangJiajie ?
B: Oh, the fresh mountain air and clean water will do wonders for your spirit.
A: So everything went according to your plan ?
B: Not at all. There were a few hiccups along the way. The trip started off with lost luggage, and to add insult to injury, all my clothes were packed in my checked bags.
A: Seriously? How inconvenient !
B: Yeah ! Lucikily I wore several layers, packed the most essential toiletries in travel-sized bottles, and brought all my electronics with me.
A: I always pack a few changes of clothing in my carry-on. You never know when you might need to live out of your suitcase.
B: If you want to save space, you can roll your clothes and use smaller items like socks to stuff into nooks and crannies.
A: How do you deal with toiletries? I am always so paranoid about leakages.
B: Well, I use tape to seal the lids or caps.
A: You are such a packing guru !

A : Ron, did you hear Trump bragging about tax reform on the news ?
B : He had about as much to do with tax reform as I did with selecting the last Supreme Court Justice.
A : Either way, many people are up in arms about it, they say it's a massive giveaway to the rich.
B : That's why I'm in favor of a flat tax: everybody pays the same rate, regardless of their income bracket.
A : I will admit that the progressive system looks good on paper. But in reality, the middle class gets squeezed because they can't afford to hire fancy accountants with creative accounting.
B : What do you mean by "creative accounting" ?
A : I mean the way that these bean counters exploit the loopholes and deductions that exist in tax code.
B : So you are saying that under a flat tax there would be no way to cook the books ?
A : Pardon the pun, why is filing taxes so taxing ?

B : And how !

A : Babe, why don't you relax? I'm making dinner tonight.
B : That's so sweat of you ! What are you making ?
A : 牛排和意大利面
B : Sounds delish !
A : 我正在做黑胡椒酱汁来搭配牛排。
B : 请少放点胡椒！
A : 好的，你能给我倒点红酒吗？
B : 可以，但是你要少喝点！我们还没开始吃呢。
A : 别老是对我那么严格嘛！
