Changing Fallback Font on Ubuntu

Sometimes you want to change default fallback font:

• The font you like is broken, lacking important character (e.g. ^, }, and {).
• The font you like is not for your mother tongue, and you don't like the default ubuntu font.

You are saved. You can change all these with fontconfig. Create or Edit ~/.config/fontconfig/fonts.conf with following content:

    </prefer>

</fontconfig>

then run fc-cache -fv and restart X, everything should be fine.
