trip to To Island

Ko Tao is a island of southern Thailand.It's a famouse diving shrine.We are going to there for a month for an exciting trip.We choose to take the flight from Chongqing jiangbei International Airport to Don Mueang International Airport.It takes about an hour.After that we take the flight in the Suvarnabhumi Airport to Samui Airport.It takes about 1.5 hour.And then,we take the ship to the Samui Island.In the end,we take ferry boat or the speed boat to the Ko Tao.In this way,we arrive our destination,Ko Tao.

As for the accomadation,on the booking,there is a hotel named AC 2 Resrot.Six adults staying for one night will cost 2416 RMB.It wiil takes about 5 minutes for us to take car to Mae Haad Pier and the center of Mae Haad which is 15 minutes ferry ride from Nanyuan island.There is a dining room in the hotel,which serves tenants continental breakfast.On the viewing platform,we can go fishing.Besides,we could play billiards，walk in the sand and go diving;However,on the Agoda,we know a hotel called Ban's Diving Resort.Six adults put up for a night with breakfast included will cost 1020 RMB.It's very cheap.

Of course,the most fantastic thing is how to play there.

Introduction:

Ko Tao is a tranquil(宁静的) island in the south of Thailand.It's a great place for diving with cheapest price and cleanest water.Without so much commercial breath(商业气息),it is like a fictitious land of peace that you can never miss.You'll be surrounded by warm sea water and genial sunshine.

Time:

Mid-Dec. to April is the best time to visit Ko Tao,as the weather is delightfully cool,not like the hot day from April to Sep. .

Things must pay attention:

SIM card(If you will stay a little long time more than three days,it's neccessary for you to buy a specific SIM card for tourist.There is HAPPY card and AIS card to choose.)

Mineral water(You'd better prepare enough mineral water to drink during your trip.Because the water in Ko Tao cannot to drink).

There are many 711 supermarkets so that you needn't worry about where to buy things in life.If you don't have enough money,you can make a live by bread and water.

Don't buy souvenir in Ko Tao,as everything is more expensive than other place, you can buy in Ko Samui when you leave.

Learn some easy but important Thai language,which will be helpful sometime.After all,Thai’s English can be confusing because of their accent.And you can ask the hotel attendant for help.

The food you must have a try:

Whitening Restaurant:It's on the side of beach and next to the wharf(码头).It has beautiful scenery,tasty Thai cuisine(泰国菜) and suitable price that we student can accept.

Pranee’s kitchen:A small restaurant which is run by local people.It’s Thai food is genuine.What’s more,it will play movies during 6p.m. to 10p.m. to have fun.It’s enjoyable.

Seafood:Prawns(海虾),fresh oyster(生蚝) and so on.You can never miss seafood when you come to the sea,especially the toast prawns.It’s so big!

Tom Yam Gong(冬阴功):There have two kinds of Tom Yam Gong--red and white.the red Tom Yang Gong can be seen in China,so try the white one or both of them.

Pancake:Genuine Thai banana pancake.

Coconut:It’s so cheap to buy a big coconut in Ko Tao.

The attractions you can never miss :

The beaches:There are more than ten beaches in Ko Tao.Have a walk arround Ko Tao,you may feel different atmosphere.

Shark Bay(鲨鱼湾):One of the diving spot.If you’re lucky enough, you may see turtle.

Turtle Bay(海龟湾):One of the diving spot.If you’re lucky enough, you may see turtle.

Herringbone Beach(人字沙滩):The beach is like a Chinese character “ren”.But it’s hard to find a way to go there.Find a local people taking you there and be careful when you walk.

The diving:

OW:OW in KoTao is cheaper than any other places.It’s about 2000 yuan for chinese classes and even about 400 yuan for English classes.You have to learn four days.But diving takes you a lot of power,so you’d better take care of your body and don't try to be brave.(Accmodation included）

The other kind-experiential diving:If you don’t want to learn PADI, you can join in a experiential diving.There will be professional worker take you to some diving spot to enjoy the wonderful scenery underwater.Don’t forget to use your underwater camera to take photos.
