The solution for pressure oscillations of CBS-FEM-T3

CBS FEM CFD T3

Low Re number with larger dynamic viscosity will not lead to pressure oscillation even using coarse mesh. However, higher Re number with smaller dynamic viscosity will have pressure oscillation problem.

Solutions:

1. Smoothing the inlet velocity profile.
2. Increase the mesh density near the no-slip wall.
3. Grandually increase the velocity magnitude.
