Liquid volume

Horizontal storage tanks with oval heads are widely used in petrochemical and urban gas industries, and are mostly used to store liquid substances such as LPG. In relation to safe operation, the calculation of the liquid volume in the storage tank is very important.
This calculator uses analytical geometry and Simpson's formula to deduce a method to calculate the liquid volume in the storage tank based on the height of the stored liquid, the inner diameter and length of the storage tank, and the error value is less than 1% of the total volume.
